Hi

Been looking for a place to chat about my keenest interest and found these forums, so here I am introducing myself.

My name's Martin, I'm 39 years old and I live in Kent in the UK.

Other than a bit of sport the only TV programs I watch are Sci-Fi related. I tend to buy DVD box sets rather than watch them on the TV as I can then watch them when I want.

My favourite TV programs are Star Trek (all varieties except Voyager), Firefly, Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis), Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Ghost Whisperer, Battlestar Galactica (I've just finished watching Season 3 on DVD so don't spoil the 4th season for me!) and Big Bang Theory.

My favourite Sci-Fi films are Star Wars (the original trilogy), the Aliens and Predator films, Stargate, Serenity, The Matrix (just the original), Total Recall and Starship Troopers (plus some more that I can't think of at the moment).

I don't really read much as I don't find I have enough time, but when I do I tend to read adventure books rather than science fiction.

My other main interests are watching some sport (mainly football and cricket) and playing on my Xbox 360.

Hopefully I can bring something to the forum.

Martin

Howdy Jaynestown,

I like alot of the same sci-fi movies and shows as you do. Have you ever seen the comedy sci-fi show from the 1990's called RED DWARF? I've recently began watching it and became an overnight fan.

Have fun exploring and posting here.

Hi. Yes, I like Red Dwarf although the later series are a bit of a letdown compared to the early ones.

Hi. Yes, I like Red Dwarf although the later series are a bit of a letdown compared to the early ones.

I'm up to the 7th season of the series, it has gone through many changes and characters come and go, but I'm still enjoying it. It's also nice to know there are others here who also enjoy the wacky sci-fi adventures of the Red Dwarf crew.

Here's one of my favorite moments.
