Help In Chemistry?

Well...This is a bit important actually. I need help with a chemistry project that im doing in a group.
-The Project- Finding an alternative energy source rather then oil and gasoline.
-The thing my group chose- Biodegradable sources of energy.... :blink:
- So now I have to get an A or something..and idk how ima do that.. :confused:

Hey, i'm not sure exactly what it is you need but I'll explain a bit about biodegradable products.

Biodegradable means something that can be used to produce energy which simply disintergrates after use so it doesn't need to be disposed of.

Biodegradable resources include coal, which is reduced to ash, and wood which again burns without leaving residue. However I would say wood is the better of the two as coal is a fosil fuel and one os its products is CO2, which contributes to Global Warming, and Sulphur Dioxide which contributes to acid rain.
