Help!

I need a book by a European writer for school. I have to do an oral report on it and an analytical paper on it. I want somthing that will grab my interest so doing all the work required won't be horrible to go though. Does anyone have any suggestions of a work (preferably not too too long and hard of a read or too easy) that I could use for my project?

Well.........we do have some good European writers....but I only know the Swedish ones.....I think.....well some English as well........so is it ok with Swedish writers?

I believe so. I'm really not sure what book i want to do. I'm thinking maybe Jane Eyre (even though i've read it before) or maybe Hunchback of notre dame. But i'll need other choices if these are already taken (i really have to stap procrastinating)

Ben Elton and Nick Hornby are British and my favorites. They are very easy and funny to read but there's also a message in their books
