Hermann Hesse

The first book that got me hooked into his world was Demian not only because is probably one of the most insightful books I've ever read, but because it could be almost considered an autobiography.
After that I've read several of his books, being the greates ones (in my opinion) The Glass Bead Game and Steppenwolf
So, do you know his work? Have you read some of his books? What do you think about them?

I read Demian in HS. AMAZING book! I liked what he had to say, even if I didn't agree with all of it. I haven't gotten around to reading his other stuff though.

My favorite quote...

"If you hate a person, you hate something in him that is part of yourself. What isn't part of ourselves doesn't disturb us." (I don't know if I really believe this, but it's an interesting idea)
