An Old Friend
My bother-in-law makes homemade beer, wine and sauerkraut. He bought one of those top-o-the-line dehydrators and makes jerky too.
I don't really get into the home crafting stuff much but I have made fruit leathers and other dried stuff using my cheapo dehydrator.
I've seen his big stone crocks of sauerkraut and the casks for his wine and beer. Pretty cool.
I've made cookies and breads. Just about any combination of casseroles and desserts. I even made candies. (You should try red grapefruit peel candy - its fantastic and simple)
Whats the strangest food that you have created? I don't care how simple it was, if you created it list it!
