Internet Access in Europe

Is it possible to get satellite internet in France? DSL and cable are not alternatives and I was just trying to think of other solutions for broadband connections.

yes it's possible, my great uncle has satelite internet, can't remember it's though but i'll ask as soon as possible.

Internet satellite?? Never heard of that sorry... you can watch regular tv on your computer? I knew you could download movies (illegally too... my cousin does that in France) and maybe episodes of shows but you can watch tv on your computer all day?? Why don't you try getting Canal Satellite, my grandparents and my uncle in France have that, it's a lot cooler cuz you get many more channels. If you're an Alias fan, I think they are broadcasting season 3 on a channel called Teva.

I live in Spain and I have ADSL (256 kbps, 512 kbps, 1 MB, 2MB. I've 256 kbps). We have satellite internet, but is very expensive.
