Internet "justice" strikes again.

Brad

Cadet
A kid named Walter Easley kicked a cat and uploaded the video of it to Vine awhile back. Someone discovered the video and posted it to the usual hivemind sites (reddit begin one example). After the video became widely known the internet decided to deliver some "justice"

Video below:

The "justice" has come in the usual form of harassment in any way possible. In short time just about every bit of personal information about this kid was posted online for all to see. His twitter was spammed, his facebook was spammed, information about his family and their contact information was posted as well. Walter made the mistake of posting his phone number on twitter a few months ago and this was also found and put up for others to call.

So far a incomplete list of things that have been done to him just in the last 24 hours:

- Multiple people have reported him for animal cruelty to the ASPCA and other organizations.
- Multiple people have claimed to have e-mailed his football coach, teachers, and anyone else related to his school life and sent them copies of the video.
- Hes had countless pizzas show up as his mothers house.
- Multiple people have called the KKK and given them Walter's contact information.
- Someone called a male escort and managed to convince him to drive 2 hours to Walter's mothers house. Escort actually showed up at Walter's house only to be greeted at the door by Walter's mother.
- Multiple people have contacted his local news stations in an attempt to have a story made about this.

The internet can be cruel....although I suppose kicking a cat is cruel too. What do you guys think of this type of "justice"?

I don't feel bad for the guy... I mean he knew better than to upload it knowing that negative outcomes would com from it. He dug his own grave, he can figure out how to get out of it himself.

Weak and ineffectual to be perfectly honest. 'proper' justice would be for someone to hold him down, and kick him with equal force to that which he used on the cat.....all the time recording it to see how funny he finds it then.....

For the record, I don't like cats.....but I like bullies even less....

I'll volunteer to do it... .actually I'll volunteer YOU to do it.. you kick harder than I do.

I can't stand cats... I don't own any and I won't ever but I'd never be cruel to them. There was one time a cat came up rubbing against me... I thought I'd be nice and pet on him. He started purring and then entered bitch mode and bit the piss out of my arm... Angered, I picked the cat up and bit him back right on his ass LOL, he ran off but the bastard never bit me again (I petted it frequently after that). Kicking the cat or sealing it into a paint bucket though, that is going a bit too far.

I've bitten several Staffordshire Bull terriers, and our Rottwieler a few times...only when they've deserved it though..lol

Rot's get a bad reputation. They're big teddy bears if taken care of well enough.

I grew up with Rots. My mom and step dad breeded them and sold the pups. They were always the best dogs to play with haha, they were rough players but they were extremely protective of me as well. I remember I did something when I was like 13 and my folks were gonna whip me, the rots surrounded me showing their teeth, growling and so on. Saved me from a whippen that day. However, when I saw my folks putting them up in the bedroom, I knew I was in trouble LOL

Nowadays, I often have pit bulls as pet. They got a real bad name around here but everyone of them I have had have been the biggest babies of a dog breed you can find haha

The meanest dogs I have ever seen are Chauauas(sp?), they are a one owner dog and they will bite the hell out of you lol.

yeah done it a few times, lisa looks at me a bit odd when i've got a mouthful of dog throat or ear.....but its a Very effective way of showing dominance, if a little odd....lol

Staffy's are basically slightly smaller pits, and the two are often confused over here, lovely dogs though once they know who is boss..lol
Yeah.. Having grown up with dogs I know what you mean.. At a young age me and my sisters were taught how to make sure we established dominance over our dogs. Biting is just one way though.. Really hate it.. Getting a mouthful of hair sucks...

I was always taught to use your hands like teeth when you're asserting dominance. Is there a reason to bite them or is that just how some people are taught?

I use hands as well, but trust me, nothing freaks a dog out more than a 19 stone human on all fours, growling and then pinning it to the floor.....with hands and teeth

It might not be the recommended method, or even the best method, but we've never had an aggressive dog yet....lol

Using your hands will only inflict the pain when establishing dominance. Biting is what they do in the wild and it becomes more a psychological thing. You're not biting hard. You're just showing who's "boss".

There was one time I hit my dog (he is dead now :( ), he crapped in my house, I grabbed him to rub his face in it and in return he bit my hand drawing blood. I all out punched him in the nose... yeah that sounds mean but you don't bite the hand that feeds you and he never bit me again either! He wasn't scared of me either so its not like a scarred him for life. I miss that damn dog... he died earlier in the summer, it about killed me, was like losing a child to me.
