and it's great, so sweet, so emotional
every 10 pg i was like only another 60 only another 50
and then i got to the 60th page and i was so sad
and then i find out there is only another 2 chapters
please update me on the last chapters

Chapter 39
~The Prom~
Before anyone knew it the first week of May had arrived and it was time for prom. Sydney and Michael had made plans to go with Joe and his girlfriend as well as Eric, who was having trouble with the fact that he had to go alone.
“Guys I don’t want to be like the fifth wheel...” Eric groaned.
“You won’t be” Sydney smiled.
“I shouldn’t even go...” Eric groaned.
“Eric you have to go it’s prom”
“Yeah you’ll regret not going” Michael said.
“But...” Eric protested.
“How about I find you a date” Sydney offered.
“Really?” Eric asked.
“Yeah I think I know someone perfect”

On the night of prom everyone was to gather at Sydney’s house to take pictures. Michael was the first to arrive. He was dressed in a tuxedo. Sydney’s mother answered the door.
“Michael you look handsome” She smiled.
“Thanks Mrs. Bristow”
“Sydney, Michael is here” she called up the stairs.
“Be down in a sec!” Sydney shouted back.
“Have you met the girl Sydney found for Eric’s date?” Mrs. Bristow.
“No I haven’t.” Michael said.
“She’s upstairs now; lovely girl. Too bad she doesn’t speak much English.”
“She doesn’t?” Michael asked in surprise.
“We’re here” Sydney announced. Michael gaped at her. She was wearing a royal blue strapless dress accented with a few rhinestones. Her hair was hanging down in soft curls.
“You look perfect” He smiled at her. She walked over to him and gave him a kiss.
“So do you. Oh! I almost forgot. This is Nadia” Sydney said as she pointed to the girl behind her who Michael hadn’t even noticed until then. This girl was about the same size as Sydney only she had a much darker complexion and long black hair.
“Hola” The girl said quietly.
“Hi, I’m Michael.” Michael said
“She doesn’t speak much English” Sydney whispered.
“So I’ve heard” Michael laughed as he thought of Eric’s reaction to his date. Sydney pinned on the blue flower she had gotten Michael and he gave her the corsage while they waited for the other guests to arrive. Joe and his girlfriend arrived with Eric ten minutes later.
Michael went out to talk to Eric before he had a chance to meet Nadia.
“Hey man” Michael said.
“Hey... whoa who is that girl talking to Syd?”
“Um that’s your date but-“
“SERIOUSLY?” Eric interrupted. “Wow she is hot! I’ll have to remember to thank Syd a million times for this.”
“Eric wait...” Michael said as Eric walked off to meet his date.
“Oh Eric good I want you to meet someone” Sydney smiled. “Eric this is Nadia Santos, Nadia this is Eric Weiss.”
“Hi” Eric beamed.
“Hola como estas?” Nadia smiled.
“Uh...” Eric paused.
“Oh right Nadia is an exchange student from Argentina – she doesn’t speak much English.” Sydney smiled.
Eric smiled politely and said. “Syd can I have a word.” Before pulling her aside.
“Yes Eric?”
“She doesn’t speak English?! You got me a Spanish speaking date!”
“So? She’s very nice.”
“I’m sure she is and she’s very hot but there is a problem.”
“Being?”
“I don’t speak Spanish!”
“Oh... I do.” She said.
“Yes but unfortunately for me you’ll be sucking face with Mike all night.” Eric groaned.
“Eric!” Sydney laughed. “It will be ok I promise”

On the way to the prom Eric and Nadia sat in an uncomfortable silence.
“Say something to her” Michael hissed.
“Like what?”
“I dunno know any Spanish?” Michael laughed.
“Um... tango un lapiz amarillo” Eric said.
Nadia laughed.
“What did he say?” Michael asked.
“He said that he had a yellow pencil” Sydney giggled.
“Way to go” Michael said to Eric. Eric rolled his eyes.

Later that evening Sydney and Michael were holding each other tightly and rocking back and forth on the dance floor.
“This is nice” She sighed happily.
“Yeah” He smiled. “Look,” Michael said as he nodded off to the side. Sydney turned and saw Eric dancing awkwardly with Nadia.
She giggled. “Aw that’s cute”
“Yeah very adorable... too bad we don’t have a camera” Michael laughed.

“So did you have a good prom?” Michael asked as he walked Sydney to her door.
“Yes it was perfect because I got to spend it with the man I love” She grinned as she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him.
