That goes back to my first post about people expecting facials and anal regularly. Those people really are using it for educational purposes. Porn is subconsciously dangerous because it sets false expectations.

That's not the fault of porn, that's the fault of a lack of basic education in the first place. You can't put the blame on the porn industry for the failure of a person's education.

Educational purposes? LOL! How about seeing it and thinking, "hey, that may be a good idea."

It is porn's fault and the people involved because children end up watching it and getting their false expectations set in early. It also serves as an objectification of women and screws with people's self esteem if their boobs aren't as large or penis isn't as big etc.

Only if you're a moron to begin with...

I like porn, I don't however expect to take my missus up the arse, tie her to a chair while gagged, cum all over her face or any other aspect of things i've seen, because
A) i'm smart enough to know that Porn is fiction, and
B ) I'm smart enough to know if I tried to treat her like a porn star she'd cut my balls off and feed them to me as swedish meatballs.

Most people accept that Porn is sexual fiction, in the same way as Star Trek is science fiction...it would be awesome if it could happen for real, but its bloody unlikely...

No, that would be the fault of the person who allowed a child to watch porn in the first place and then not educating them on the fact that it is fiction.

That is the biggest load of rubbish I've heard about porn in a long time. Mainstream media is far more blameable for objectification and esteem issues.

I wouldn't say it's dangerous. It's fictional, but teenagers don't necessarily understand that. I'm more concerned with mainstream media that objectifies women as sex objects in a manner suitable for children; I'm looking at you, Disney. The Disney I knew over 30 years ago and today's are extremely different. As for me, I don't really watch any of the stuff. I've got a healthy sex life.

David Cameron has announced plans to crack down on online pornography by changing the way it is accessed. Under his plans, every internet user will be forced to opt in if they want to access sexually graphic content, and possessing violent pornography will be be made a crime. But what threat does pornography pose to our society - is it really dangerous? Anti-porn author Julia Long believes that pornography is a form of violence against women and says our children need to be protected from harmful images. But journalist Martin Daubney believes that porn can be a healthy outlet for sexual fantasies and says we will never be able to be eradicate it from society.

We want to know what you think?

One of the definitions of pornography is “material that is likely to deprave or corrupt” the reader or viewer. This is very subjective – what one person considers as harmless titillation another might believe to encourage immoral or even criminal behaviour.
Nowadays the term pornography seems to be applied exclusively to material of a sexual nature, while the depiction of extreme violence, especially on TV, and during prime time, appears to be increasingly the norm.
I believe that the portrayal of violence – especially as entertainment (it is often put to music) - is far more harmful than erotic material. Sex is not in itself wrong. But he imitation of violent behaviour on TV and in video games has led to horrific crimes being committed – and the influence of this type of pornography has been admitted by the offenders. This type of porn is certainly dangerous.

Although I believe OT was referring to how porn is dangerous for the one viewing it. There's obviously going to be hazards for the people in "the business" but those dangers don't affect the viewer as much.
Yes, I was referring to the viewer not the person in the business.
