Is the sun having a nap?

Scientists are saying that the sun is in a phase of "solar lull" - which, in normal speak - means the sun has gone to sleep, but they don't appear to know why.

History suggests that periods of unusual "solar lull" coincide with bitterly cold winters, which doesn't bode well. Hope everyone has got the thermals ready!

I can believe it! We've already had -25 (F) below ZERO wind chill temps and more snow than we have had in years! And I hear we might get another event that will be worse This year it got so cold, water in my gas froze and killed my truck while I was driving down the road!
