J.J. Abrams was on today's Access Hollywood to talk about being the director of Mission Impossible 3. They showed old clips of Alias (Syd in the blue wig).

Tom Cruise wasn't familiar with Alias, so JJ gave him Alias DVDs in order to demonstate what he could do for MI-3.

JJ believes that Alias has been in some ways preparation for what MI-3 will be like.

I loved the first one, but I've only seen parts of the second one, and I thought it looked a bit dodgy....

Plus, Tom Cruise is nowhere near as attractive in real life.
