From The Sky UK- STAR WANTED OTHER ROLE Daredevil and Alias star Jennifer Garner has revealed she had intended to be a Shakespearean actress. But the 30-year-old has instead found herself playing roles with more kung fu than King Lear. Garner, who plays a gun-toting secret agent in Alias, is currently cast as the knife-wielding Elektra in the Hollywood blockbuster Daredevil. She told the Sunday Express S magazine that she had never imagined she would be cast in these roles. "I was the girl next door who cried a lot and dreamed of playing Shakespearean heroines and now I'm jumping from buildings and asking to hang from the bottom of helicopters," she said. Garner, who married fellow actor Scott Foley three years ago, said she enjoyed the physically-gruelling roles, which can see her put in 12 to 15 hour days. But she disclosed she does not want to spend the next decade with such a demanding schedule that makes married life a "challenge". She added: "It's a little bit like going through medical school. You know you've got to put your head down and focus for a few years."
