In my opinion the show was great. Basically Nikita(Peta Wilson) was accused for murdering a police officer and she had a choice to either be excecuted or become a member of a secret anti-terrorism unit called"Section One". She took the second choice. 
God! I had completely forgot about that show. Had lots of similarities to Alias, migh I add. The cast was perfect. The action was great, story was excellent. I just saw news for it's upcoming 4th season DVD release. This show brings back many good memories sitting in front of the TV. :lol:
Anyone interested in shows like Alias or 24 should like Nikita.(which was made by the creators of 24 or should I say 24 was made by the creators of Nikita"
The show ran 4 full seasons(22 episodes each) and had a shortened fifth season(8 episodes)
I'm definately gonna get S1-S3 on DVD now as they are all released. S4 coming this July. Don't know about S5 yet.
So if you haven't seen it, give the DVDs a chance.
