I wanna learn. I've always been fascinated by the Hebrew language and have always wanted to learn. Kinda funny coming from a Christian but hey thats just me.

that's pretty interesting. how much does present day hebrew resemble the ancient hebrew the Hebrew Scriptures (formerlly known as the Old Testament in the Christian Bible) were written in?
 
pretty closely except for some slang and grammatical things, like certain biblical terms are now considered old hebrew like old english is
 
i am not from israel, but i was just there in early may, it is beautiful ther, where in israel do you live, i was freaking out also while i was in israel cuz thats when the alias season finale aired.

I took one year of hebrew 2 years ago and i remember 2 things

- ani lomedet ivrit

- Ma ze? Ze sefer.

i think i'm not ready for a whole conversation in hebrew :lol:
