Marvel Reports Lower Profit

Comic-book publisher Marvel Enterprises Inc. on Oct. 28 posted a lower quarterly profit due to the effect of taxes, but revenue rose 60 percent on licensing of such characters as Spider-Man, the Reuters news service reported.
