Sci-Fi Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Great new episode this evening, but the closing segment was really strange to me. Wasn't entirely sure what was going on in Coulson's office, as well as in the kitchen. Plenty of loose ends to keep us going through the rest of the season, though...

Not sure I'm a fan of Captain Adama acting as some sort of SHIELD leader out to get Coulson...
I am thinking that it is setting up the next Marvel Universe movie that will ultimately lead to the Marvel Civil War story line. Adama Gonzales and Coulson have very different ideas on how people with powers should be handled and what we might be seeing is the starting of the political bubbling that will eventually lead to the Civil War arc that caused a split between the Marvel super heroes of those who supported mandatory registration (the Superhuman Registration Act) versus those who supported personal freedoms. We've already seen Capt. America voicing his displeasure with the Big Brother like direction SHIELD was going in and the next Capt. American movie will be the start of the movie franchise dealing with the story arc.

Season 3 starts this Tuesday, the 29th at 9PM!

Here's an extended clip from the S3:E1 premiere. Looks like Skye Daisy has gotten quite comfortable being a leader.

Guess they've already hit their fall finale with this week's episode. So far, so good. I was a little disappointed in the ending, though, but I guess they had to keep someone around longer...oh well.

Get Your First Look at Jason O'Mara as the New Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Actor Jason O'Mara takes over as the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. when "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns Tuesday, September 20 in its new timeslot, 10:00 PM ET on ABC, but you can get your first look at him right here!

What does O'Mara's arrival mean for our favorite Agents? You'll have to wait to find out, but that won't be the only big debut this season as Gabriel Luna joins the cast as Robbie Reyes, the Ghost Rider, keeping everyone on their toes.

I like O'Mara as an actor and was really disappointed that the US version of Life on Mars didn't get a better response. That said, however, it is the appearance of Ghost Rider that I'm looking forward. The AoS incarnation will be closer to the current comics version so no motorcycle, a car instead, and not the Nicholas Cage type character shown in the movies. I just hope they don't 'cheap' out on the budget for the special effects when he is in flame on mode.

Found Cell Phone Footage of Ghost Rider!

Ghost Rider's black 1969 Dodge Charger has been found on the streets of Los Angeles. Check out the cell phone footage above!

This past summer, the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Comic-Con 2016 panel revealed that the latest incarnation of The Spirit of Vengeance, Robbie Reyes, played by Gabriel Luna ("True Detective") will make his debut on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4!

Vengeance Heads to 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' in New Poster

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns with a vengeance in this brand-new poster! See the new image below and watch the Season 4 premiere on ABC on Tuesday, September 20 at 10 PM ET.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack, and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy, aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz and Simmons have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.

Robbie Reyes will roar into the lives of Agent Coulson and the team as a junkyard mechanic who can turn on a dime into the terrifying Ghost Rider. Will Robbie be a friend or foe to S.H.I.E.L.D. – as well as the world, itself? Meanwhile, Fitz discovers that socially awkward genius and friend Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) has started putting the finishing touches on a new, secret invention.

S.H.I.E.L.D. will never be the same. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returns September 20 10:00 PM ET on ABC. Stay up to date with the latest by following @AgentsofSHIELD on Twitter and liking "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on Facebook!

Anybody else getting the feeling that they are aiming at making S4 a lot more action oriented than previously? With the changes in place, and now with the addition of Ghost Rider, it seems to be taking a direction closer to the comics versus the 'cloak & dagger' feel of before.

I just realized the new time! The 10:00PM timeslot will ostensibly allow them to get away with things a bit darker in tone than previous seasons. Maybe in response to the positive feedback to the Netflix Marvel universe but lackluster response to the Marvel ABC universe?

S5 is set to start December 1st.

If you haven't been watching you missed a bunch of some wild story lines!
In the season 4 finale, Coulson & Co. were enjoying a last meal, expecting to be arrested by government agents, but instead were seemingly frozen in place by some shadowy figures and kidnapped before viewers picked up with Coulson sometime later in space.

While the organization’s identity was not revealed, a running theory posits that they’re members of S.W.O.R.D., the Sentient World Observation and Response Department, which is basically a military agency designed to protect Earth from intergalactic threats.

I can't wait. When Agents first started, I was very much in the mind of "meh, it's a bit bland and boring" but as the show moved forward, it's become one of my favourites (although I'm still very upset over Ward not being there - they could have brought him back )

Well, this is a bit disappointing. I knew that S5 of "SHIELD in Space" was taking a hit in the ratings but apparently it's worse than I realized. The S5 season finale is being written & presented as a likely series finale. And in a bit of irony this weeks episode is being celebrated as it's the 100th episode of the series, the first Marvel TV series to reach that milestone.

Bummer...I've personally been enjoying how things have been progressing myself. Guess I'm in the minority.

maybe market flooded wi too much superhero stuff.
CW has two or three going I think. and they're happy with lower ratings.
wonder if it would pay for them to switch networks
