TV Marvel's Most Wanted (ABC) (Agents of SHIELD spinoff)

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster for this show but ABC has finally committed to ordering a pilot of Marvel's Most Wanted., a spinoff of their other Marvel show, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Most Wanted stars Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood reprising their SHIELD characters of Barbara "Bobbi" Morse, known as Mockingbird, and Lance Hunter. The show has been in development for some time and it previously looked like it was going forward but work on it stopped when the second season of Marvel's Agent Carter (a spinoff of the Captain America movies) was announced.

The new Most Wanted pilot is expected to be shot & aired during 2016.

It is a bit of a Catch-22 for SHIELD fans since Mockingbird & Lance have been viewer favorites and would love to see more of them onscreen but if they get their own show what about the main SHIELD show? Would it mean that they'd leave the parent show for the spinoff or would the spinoff exist as a parallel show to it? As of now those answers are unknown.

At a TCA (Television Critics Association) this weekend ABC has finally talked about Most Wanted and confirmed that a pilot is being worked on. The timeline given for the pilot is that it'll finish filming within a few months.

Additionally, ABC has passed on picking up Agents of SHIELD spinoff Marvel's Most Wanted after redeveloping the project from last year. Following the adventures of Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter, SHIELD favorites Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood were set to reprise their roles after exiting the flagship series earlier this season. Delroy Lindo, Oded Fehr and Fernana Andrade were set to co-star in the drama from writer Paul Zbyszewski.​

I honestly can't say I'm disappointed either. Of the two AofS related shows I thought this was weaker in premise versus Agent Carter.
