Sci-Fi The Matrix Reloaded (2003)

Yes I know I'm reviving yet another dead thread. But it's fun.

softcore porno????sounds like some people are too sheltered...all it was, was a tasteful intimate sex scene that helped display the passion the 2 feel for each other.  nothing more.

Exactly. When I saw the Neo/Trinity sex scene first (dude, that was a long time ago), I thought it was well done and really displayed the passion and love those two felt for each other.

The sex scene was EXTREMELY conservative!

The Zion Part was a little weird, because it's like "Oh the end of the world is coming. We're gonna try to stop it. Party like in a raunchy club!"

But I guess it showed how they were dancing for humanity, but....?

But the sex scene was not graphic.

My questions was it really necessary to have the sex in there in the first place? I don't watch that scene, so I don't know how much it shows or whatever, but seeing as I think it is a great movie without every having seen that scene, you know that Trinity and Neo love each other, so why show it?

Many of the scenes in the Matrix are meant to be symbolic. I think I heard somewhere that the dance scene in Zion symbolizes humanity. I'm not sure of the specifics, but I think this is what the writers intended.
