Million Colours

MILLION COLOURS

Like a bridge over troubled waters
Like a sunset painting the oceans
Like a mountain meets the sky
Like a river flows from up high

Behind every reflection
The walls I built for protection
Beyond every secret now revealed
The friendship becomes more concealed

It’s your Million Colours that shows
A rainbow that always flows
Like the rainbow in my tear
You’re there
And it takes me through
I’ll always love you

Overall, I believe that this is a well-written poem. It rhymes without being cheesy like moon, june and spoon (I got that from my high school english teacher) The emotion is very genuine and it's just the right length. My only critique is in the first stanza you start each line with like, I'm just picky when it comes to being repetitive, even though I know it's poetry and it's perfectly fine..I'm sick
