Latest single from first album.
Really liked her Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas last year. Must get her new album!
Actually was unable to purchase a copy of the double EP but latest news is a nation wide re-release is happening, so will throw some bucks at that.
And I still haven't bought her newest album. From A Sea of Split Peas, my 3 favourite tracks ended up being:
#4 "History Eraser" for its poppy/catchy vibe yet underlaid by some pretty distinctive grunge aesthetics
#8 "Are You Looking After Yourself?" for that rambling guitar during the last 3+ minutes on the studio version
Her live performance is also great, but doesn't have that wailing guitar I like so much on the album version.
#11 "Porcelain" for infusing a proper sense of late night piano jazz
Of course, the whole album was great.
Breakthrough single here in Sydney at least, Pickles From The Jar
This song is soooo mellow but builds to something, I'm addicted to it
Got A Sea of Peas on vinyl finally
In a sort of not similar vein,
