NASA Gives Artificial Gravity a New Spin

i find it hard to believe this is pioneering science. the nasa article is talking about the science as if it's new and thats just untrue. the people, money and red tape is new, but the technology is 50 years old on the drawing boards and the theorists brains.

it's still amazing to think that stations built in orbit currently have no centrifuge in them to protect the best of the bests bodies for the future, but as the old addage goes, "if it moves, it will break" and so i think some of the best would rather spend half a year with a suction cup for their bodily functions than risk a centrifuge tearing away due to budget constraints
