This is a spin off from NCIS. According to Digital Spy, Linda Hunt is joining the cast alongside Louise Lombard, Peter Cambor, Daniela Ruah, Chris O' Donnell and LL Cool J.

It's due to air on CBS in the 2009/10 season.

I loved it when the showed the cast off during the cross over for 2 episodes on NCIS. I think it's going to be great!

I personally don't like it as much as the original NCIS. In my opinion it can't be NCIS without Gibbs starring in it. The characters make the show and as Gibbs being my favorite, without him in it NCIS LA just doesn't compare with the real NCIS.

I'm surprised Channel 5 haven't picked this up. When I heard about it a couple of years ago, I was expecting an announcement from them.

Yes the main one, there's only 2 in total, NCIS and NCIS:Los Angeles.

That's if you don't count JAG the parent show which NCIS was orginally spun from, don't think Channel 5 ever showed the series.
