I agree with what people are saying about a prelude to Breaking Point. The promo showed everybody blowing up about the Syd-Julia connection, so maybe this will be the intro to a big investigation or a prelude to a big cover up or, a prelude to a breaking point where everything goes crazy. Of course, this is alias, nothing is impossible, so we never know.

In her interview with Jay Leno, Jen Garner said that there was gonna be another of those huge midseason switch-arounds, where everything changes. I think that's whats gonna go down in Breaking Point, and "prelude" refers to the pre-show to that.

The midseason twist will be around ep 11/12 same as when Syd learned her mother was KGB first season, 12/13 was Sloane's escape and the fall of the Alliance in the second season.
