i found a place doing bots for spamming yahoo users, but i have some morals 
(it works just like them skanks with webcams wanting your credit card)
but, everyplace i go that contains any element of sci-fi, i drop the URL of this site as usual. if enough members from here start doing that, membership should start going up.
i've even made free webpages dedicated to this site and then in the spider search keywords, picked some choice scifi ones, writing, movies, novels, etc, etc. even when they are as simple as : http://www.webspawner.com/users/mrdestructo/index.html when it has enough searching keywords attached can stand a chance of bringing people in

i also noticed Shields-Up has search spiders from their site onto the web. sticking in coolscif pulls up their thread welcoming members of coolscifi to their site.
i've used forums before where they have seemingly linked the most boring threads noto google somehow, not sure how they are doing it or if members are doing it themselves. be interesting to find out how.
in the meantime, everytime you post anything at all on another site, coolscifi.com better be in your sig or slyly inserted into the threads. fingers reaching out to draw them in.
