The skies of Windsor & Detroit have been buzzing with the sound of airplanes this weekend.
The Red Bull Air Racing World Championship Series has made it's second appearance here in Windsor. Though there have been intermittent rain showers, the planes were able to race on the obstacle course.
Though few in the crowd know about the sport of Air Racing, seeing High Performance Acrobatic propeller airplanes weave their way between 20 metres/66 foot high pylons at high speed is quite a sight!
Take a look at a plane that accidentally touched the Detroit River, but pilot Matt Hall managed to keep airborne. You certainly can't do that over land courses.!
