Low profile Japanese flick dubbed in English. Has a super-cute little rounded-eyed Japanese protagonist. And a little something from a LOT of cool films.
It's got the "go back in time to prevent future humanity obliteration" thing, a "transformers" that's cooler than anything in that movie, a soft punk/noir deal going on, lots of Matrix reminders...
Cool bit of sinny, but seems few have caught it.
