Actor & director Richard Attenborough died today at the age of 90. Though he won an Academy Award for directing Ghandi in 1982, movie fans will most likely remember him from his work in the Jurassic Park franchise. Attenborough will also be remembered for generations to come for his role as Santa Clause in the 1994 remake of Miracle on 34th Street.
His son, who made the announcement of his father's passing, did not give a cause of death though it is known that Attenborough had been battling health problems for some time.
