A long time ago (December 2002), I contacted Roger Lim, who guest starred in Alias. I got a response back and totally forgot about it for a while, and well, here it is. You can learn more about Roger at his IMDB page.

    From Roger Lim:

I knew I wanted to be an actor when I was given a my first speaking role by Cameron Crowe in Vanilla Sky. I got to play a SWAT officer and got to do my scene with Tom Cruise, out of all actors! A few days after wrapping the movie, Mr. Crowe was on television winning an Academy Award for his writing on "Almost Famous". I was extemeley fortunate to work with both of these outstanding talents in my first scene! That day, my life changed and I am now pursuing acting full time and training as much as my time allows.

After a handful of small roles here and there and about a year and a half later, I was hired to do my featured part on the Season 2 Premiere of Alias. In "The Enemy Walks In", I found it to be perhaps the most professional production I've ever been involved in, from the top to the bottom and all the way across. I am elated to have been a part of such a popular and critically acclaimed show!

I got my "Gasping Body" role by auditioning for April Webster and Mandy
Sherman in Burbank. Within a couple of days, they contacted my agent with my booking information. I would like to thank both of these terrific casting directors who gave me the opportunity. I don't think they have gotten anywhere near the credit they deserve for piecing together such an awesome show!

My favorite thing about appearing on Alias is that it is such a widely and obsessively watched show amongst my friends and so many people I have met since I worked on it. It's so much fun to connect with people when you are talking to them about a show they absolutely love!

Jennifer Garner is definitely the nicest actor in Hollywood I've ever met. And J.J. Abrams, the creator and producer genius behind this terrific show, is definitely the nicest executive I've ever met. Wow! Such a high level of talent such as themselves working with such a great director, Ken Olin... no wonder they are so successful! And because they are all such down to earth and wonderful people, they deserve every accolade, every nomination, and every award they get and then some.

I look forward to auditioning for each and every role which comes my way. But even more exciting would be the opportunity to audition for Alias again, especially because I've been fortunate enough to work with the best. Anything else may not be able to compare with that.

I want to thank you for your interest in interviewing me. It was a lot of fun reliving the memories of Alias with you! Happy Holidays!!
