Hey youse guyz, now that SD-1.Net is often now working, if you put into a post the
[ i m g ] characters, without the spaces,
then put the following URL (but do this all on one line, rather than on separate lines)
http://
sd-1.net/
style_emoticons/
default/
then
***
then
.gif
then the end-code signals of
[ / i m g ] (without the spaces)
where the code name at SD-1.Net takes the place of the asterisks, then we can display that smilie over here . . .
for instance,
http://sd-1.net/style_emoticons/default/***.gif thing)
substitute
confetti
for the
***
and you get
[img]http://sd-1.net/style_emoticons/default/confetti.gif[/img
which, with its end bracket in place, makes
[img]http://sd-1.net/style_emoticons/default/confetti.gif
so, keeping with this pattern:
moose =
telepath =
kitty =
smooch =
bag =
*****
okay, it doesn't work for all of them . . . some of our SD-1.Net emoticons actually have different file-names than their shortcut code words . . .
the code for "smooch" ends up being "kiss2" . . .
and the word for "bag" is "thebag" . . .
so, for "kicked" . . . that's "kicked"
