I think some voters are still in the line in Florida/Ohio. Even though polls closed earlier, they can apparently still vote if they lined up before the time the polls closed but some people are complaining about that so it may be subject to legal challenges...

An airplane pilot wants to fly east. The plane has a velocity of 500km/h relative to the air. A wind is blowing at 50.0km/h [N] Calculate a) the proper heading, b) the magnitude of the plane's velocity relative tot he ground.

I think what you are trying to find is the diagonla using A^2 +B^2 = C^2
I hope this is how you do it, sorry if it's wrong I'm sure other people can help you too!

but ti's not just that. because the plane's velocity is relative to the air while th wind speed is relative to the ground. So to find the angle you use tan inverse and to findt he second part I THINK 500 becomes the hypotenuse because it's relative to the air. :blink:
