Larry Buchanan, a film director who went from making inspirational films for Oral Roberts to turning out a spate of lurid B movies including Zontar, the Thing From Venus and Mars Needs Women, died on Dec. 2 in Tucson, Ariz., where he lived, The New York Times reported.
