janice and martin were her neighbors and tom was their son. lucy was tom's wife - the one who accused becky of "making up" luke at her wedding and the one who ran off with some drummer. ^_^

i know! but at the wedding i just wanted to slug i mean slug lucy and all her annoying bridesmaids! then tom at the end of the book!HAH!

I finished Ties The Knot last night. I read it in four hours. But it was good, very, very good!!!!!!

When becky got that job at the store (i forgot which store) and Lucy came in and took the pair of pants Becky had her eye and but becky made that weird excuse and wouldn't let her try them on!!! haha i was laughing so hard!! then poor becky got fired!!!

actually, I don't think it was Lucy, just some random girl. Lucy was the one with the piles of clothes and she said, "My boyfriend's paying for all my stuff." I thinky.
most definetly one of my favorites was the part in Take Manhattan where Elinor took her to that spa thingy, and it was a head-to-toe wax.......and then the tattoo.

takes manhattan was so painful for me because so many things went wrong for becky!! i felt so bad for her!!
i think confessions was my favorite because i love how she went on national tv and (intellectually) kicked luke's butt! :lol: and then got together with him. ^_^ that's how it should always be!!
and i've said it before but i'll say it again - the finnish letter in confessions just made me literally stop and laugh for a good two minutes. i think the letters in confessions were the funniest. i loved the one where the bank was like, "we're sure that misdating the check 2300 was an oversight on your part" or something like that. :lol:

ooh, i was just thinking of the part in ties the knot where luke proposes to her (although, i just loved the entire proposal!) where he's in the middle of proposing and becky's mum yells out "YES!!" all of a sudden. :lol: that's something my mother would TOTALLY do!! :lol:
