Before you start,go to
Menu bar--->Tools--->Folder Options--->View tab
Search and deselect the following
---> Hide extensions for known files and folders. (below Hidden files and folders)
Generally this is selected by default unless you r a hardcore user.
Once your done with this you can view the extensions of all the files.
1) Now select the image you want to hide/skip viewers notice..
2) Right click and go to rename option
3) Change the extension .jpg to .txt.
4) click YES on the confirmation box.
Now when they try open the file they cant see the picture ..of course...
To view the picture
Right click on the file---> Open With ---> Windows Picture and Fax user.
ALL these options are in windows and no extra software is required.[/size]
