I hadn't watched this one for years . . . until downloading the pilot from Stagevu tonight. I was much more impressed then I thought I would be.

    Does anybody agree with me?

Hhhhm..... makes me wonder if that's available on Netflix or somewhere else, it's been years since I've watched any episodes.

Like any series, this show was awesome, but expensive to produce, now cgi is here and you can peel a sci-fi off the tv paper towel roll cheaper.....I have the dvd's of 1999, and I don't see it coming back.....

Most modern sci-fi films focus on blade runner dystopian negative junk anyways, they really focus on politics instead of focusing on entertaining us.....

I have some collectable from the 1999 series, 3 eagles, 1 built model kit, 1 kit in the box, 1 metal dinky toy. I have a cool dvd set, I have a moon base alpha kit in the box also. I have 1 paper back I found in Deep Elum at a nite club, I asked the store owner if he would sell it, and he said yeup, $1 dollar, so now I have a nice little collection.....

I think the series should have run at least 5 years, I wonder if they had Gabrielle Drake from UFO with her purple hair, that maybe the series would have lasted longer, LOL!;)[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Yahhhhh.....:D

    Got it, thanks. :)

It's the problem mentioned in the ST Discovery thread, everybody these days thinks they are doing something ground breaking & not seen before. Not every show needs to be a parable, sometimes we just want to grab a slice of pizza & iced tea, sit back, and be entertained.
