Square's new sci-fi shooter

I love square, and I love sci-fi games, so I'm pretty excited about this!!

They've got a mind control game that they are announcing at E3. Basically, you can use a headset to jump into the minds of normal people an turn them into soldiers.

Looks really cool, hopefully they build up the mythology and the tech a lot. Anyone else excited for this?

Looks a bit like a combination of The Matrix, with the Agents being able to take over the bodies of others, and the 2009 movie Gamer where game players can play FPS shooters by controlling actual humans.

Yeah, looks very Matrix-y. I was also thinking Freejack.

The game's been revealed as "Mindjack," there's an official site up and a full trailer on IGN.

Ooooh, I forgot about Freejack; haven't seen that in a few years but good movie.
