For those of us in the States we had an extended three day weekend as Monday was Memorial Day. For those who did not have to work this weekend it usually kicks off the start of the summer season so it is usually a busy but relaxing weekend.

I had a good weekend. An extra day to be extra lazy didn't hurt at all!

I should have been writing, but I was lazy and played baseball on the Wii most of the day Monday. To be fair, I'd just gotten home from a sci-fi con where I was selling books, so needed some relaxation.

I saw your tweets about it! Another Cool Sci-Fi member & author, @RobertLCollins, was there also but he doesn't visit the forums frequently.

I wish more events like that were closer to home (NE US).



(And does anybody else have a hard time saying "tweets" with a straight face?)

I've done several events with Robert, as he's another Kansas author. I'm somewhat surprised that there aren't more conventions in that neck of the woods...I'd think with a greater population density, they'd have greater success in having adequate attendance.
