“Sydney, no, just stay put, stay where you are, let me come get you.”
“Vaughn, don’t worry, I’ll be fine, god, it’s just a f***ing mission.”-Syd
“Sydney, please, just stay, don’t go, get sick or something, or even better, run away with me.”-Vaughn
“Stay? I’m at the s***ty airport waiting for my f***ing flight to start boarding.”-Syd
“Sydney.” He could take it anymore. “Sydney, don’t say anything, just be silent, he knows you’re there, Sloane, he’s like 3 feet behind you, he’s got a gun, he called Weiss saying he’s going to kill you for messing up his plan.”
“For what? Destroying SD-6? Screw him, screw the Alliance. Screw the CIA. I’m leaving, meet me in Mexico city, 8 hours, promise me, Vaughn, promise me.”
“Sydney, I said, DON’T react.”
The line went dead.
“SYDNEY.” He started panicing. “No, not Sydney, oh god, please Sydney, don’t be dead.”
AIRPORT
Sloane starred at Sydney, who was now on the ground in pain.
“Sydney, I told you I’d kill you if you ruined my plan.”
“So shooting me is your answer? Go to Hell.” She held her bloody abdomen in pain, before blacking out.
“Good bye Sydney.”
WEISS’ APARTMENT
Vaughn kicked down Weiss’ apartment door and ran inside.
“Why didn’t u just knock?”-Weiss
“Sydney….I think she’s dead.”
“What the hell do you mean you think she’s dead.”-Weiss
“I was talking to her, I told her not to react to anything I said to her, she did and then the line went dead, she’s at the airport. Sloane’s there, Eric, please just come with me.”-Vaughn
“Fine, alright.”
The two of them left.
AIRPORT
Sloane dragged her unconscious body into the Mens’ room and locked in it a stall. He then left.
20 MINUTES LATER
Vaughn and Weiss walked into the airport, they walked further down closer to the Bathrooms to see blood, everywhere.
Vaughn started to fell nauseous, he ran into the mens room and tried to open the ’locked’ stall, he couldn’t.
“Great, just great.”
He climbed over and into the stall to see Sydney, blood everywhere, she had been shot, probably killed. He picked up her body and kissed her forehead. He grabbed her wrist, searching for a pulse, there was a pulse.
“Oh, god.”
He stared at her abdomen, and carefully pulled out the bullet, but still she didn’t seem too alive, the pulse wasn’t very promising. He wrapped his arms around her and picked her up. She looked as though her soul had been removed from within her.
“Sydney, please, just don’t die. God, Sydney, just listen to me for once when I say DON’T react. I don’t wanna loose you, not now, not ever. Sydney, please just do me a favor and live.”
She was alive, whether he thought so or not, she was alive.
Weiss walked into the bathroom.
“Mike, I know you’re in here, we need to leave, Sloane, he knows we’re here.”
“But Weiss.”
Two men in their 20s walked into the bathroom with their suitcases.
“Can you watch our stuff for a sec.”-Man
“Yeah, sure whatever.” He glanced at the suitcases. “Mike, get our here, now I got an idea.”
“What.” He opened the stall door and carried Sydney over to Weiss.
“What the f-ck happened to her?”-Weiss
