I got hooked w/ Immortals when my sister got 'em for me for christmas. then i read alanna's books, then kel's. i gotta say, i wasn't as big a fan of kel's as i was of alanna's and daine's. i was gonna read the circle books but i heard they weren't all that good. if you guys really recommend them i'll get around to it but i just started Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar books in June (i've already read 3 trilogy's and 1 stand-alone and am starting the second in another trilogy. i'm kinda fast) but i got a lot more to go, plus all her other ones. i really recommend those too.
