im such a newb how do i get a avatar to work it always says:

"Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar or personal photo"

Your avatar is too large- I think the cap is somewhere in the neighborhood of 60x60.

Ah i make my images smaller but then it cant recognize the image... stupid PAINT!!
