uh, thats bulls***uhh...no. definitely not. we're not that polarized...
um...ok. wanna give me reasons why my response is bulls***? i happen to think that while this country is divided on certain issues, we are not so polarized that we will descend into civil war.uh, thats bulls***
true, we're not polarised enough now, but give it another 10 years. Bush is sadly only the beginning. i dont mean to be all predestination-y but it's only going to get worse. look at the last time this (a Crisis phase in history). it was started by the 1929 Crash and culminated in WW2. 9/11 was the threshold of the current Crisis phase. what it'll culminate in is still unknown...until now. a civil war is an excellent hypothesis.Well, I agree that we're divided and I don't think it's serious enough to have a civil war breakout.
actually, now that i think about it, i dont think it's very likely logistically. people dont just form militias and take a rifle off the wall anymore. where would we get the weapons (both Blue and Red) to fight one another? another thing, the blue states arent clumped together like the Confederate was in 1861. so trying to unite the Blue states would be difficult. you can suggest Canadian aid, but the US could bomb the felgercarb out of Canada that she wouldn't help the Blue states.
