The 'Devil' in Jennifer Garner
Ben Affleck's wife is a busy, busy woman

No offense to Violet and Ben Affleck, but Jennifer Garner is eager to be out of the house and in front of the camera.

The "Alias" and "Dude, Where's My Car?" actress is expected to produce and star in the comedy "Devil in the Junior League," one of a slew of upcoming projects on Garner's slate.

According to Variety, "Devil in the Junior League" is an adaptation of Linda Francis Lee's book, which focuses on a Southern socialite whose husband runs off with another woman and their life's savings. The lawyer she enlists to help refuses to take the case unless she helps his less-than-gentile wife get into the Junior League.

Garner and Juliana James would produce through their Vandalia Films shingle. Scott Stuber and Mary Parent's predictably named Stuber/Parent banner would also produce the Universal vehicle.

While Garner's first post-baby/post-"Alias" film, the romantic-comedy "Catch and Release," failed to set the box office aflame, hopes are higher for the thriller "The Kingdom," recently moved to a late-September release date. The actress will co-star in Jason Reitman's "Juno" and is set to topline "Be With You" and a remake of "Christmas in Connecticut
