today the crocodile hunter past away whilst doing what he loved best, raising awareness for the worlds animals, whilst filming underwater in Australia for one of his programs he was struk by a stingray whose barb struck him in the heart.
depsite the irony in his death he died a happy man and its sad to loose a man who cared so much about the worlds animals and a man who tried so hard to raise the awareness of endangered species.

I was shocked and saddened this morning to hear of his passing. I greatly enjoyed watching his programs and specials. He was one of those people that you kind of thought was invincible. Condolences to his wife and children. He will be missed.

It was a big suprise I was really sad becuase he had 2 kids that where so young

I feel so bad for his young children. It's hard growing up without a parent. it makes me really sad.

At first I literaly couldn't believe it. Its so awful that for someone who had such a passion for animals should meet his end at the hand of one. I'm so sorry for his wife and children.
