The Music Recommendation Thread!

Hey guys! I noticed there was no music recommendation thread and thought well, why not?

Got a song you have loved for the longest time, or just recently? Got a song that you think everyone MUST have? Heres what you do:

Post the name and artist, and if you feel like it, album and genre. THATS IT!

So go! Recommend away!

Ill get the ball rolling.

My favourite some ever is a song called "Goodbye My Lover" by James Blunt.

Well I would like to recommend Switchfoot's new CD "Nothing is Sound". It just came out on Tuesday and I think it's real good. The critics are just rating it as so-so, but I disagree. I think if you liked their CD, "The Beautiful Letdown", you will like "Nothing is Sound" If you are not sure, you can go to VH1.com and listen to the whole CD and judge for yourself.

Okay i am a HUGE Evanescence fan so i think that everyone should have the Fallen album. Some songs that i love on the CD are My Immortal, Tourniquet, and Hello. Evanescence is a metal kind of goth music but i believe that it has christian message behind it.

Another album that i think everyone should have is the Phantom of the Opera special edition soundtrack. this soundtrack i dont knoe how to explain but it like captivated me. awesome music. dont get the one disc soundtrack cause it sucks and although the two disc is like twenty bucks it is well worth it.

Eisley's Room Noises is an awesome album. it is very peaceful and yes it is kind of poppy but it is nothing like a bubblegum kind of poppy.

"The Winner Takes It All" by ABBA available on their comp. album Gold: Greatest Hits

"Superstar" by The Carpenters incl. in the comp. album Gold: Greatest Hits

"Beautiful Disaster" by Kelly Clarkson from her album Thankful

"Lullabye for a Stormy Night" by Vienna Teng from her album Waking Hour

"Elephant Love Medley" by Nicole Kidman & Ewen McGregor on the soundtrack of Moulin Rouge

"The Prayer" by Charlotte Church & Josh Groban which is available (i think) on one of his albums. it's definitely on iTunes

The Click Five's album Greetings from Imerie House. every song on there aside from Lies is excellent.

"You, Euphoria" and "Saturday Girl" by The Feds
"Broken" by Seether ft Amy Lee
"Field of Innocence" and "October" by Evanescence
"Stay" by Michelle Featherstone
"Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" by Fuel

There's a lot of songs that I would recommend. Here's some of my all-time favorites:
One and Sunday Bloody Sunday by U2
Rock Around The Clock by Billy Haley and the Comets
Fighter by Christina Aguilera
Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden
Walk Away by Kelly Clarkson
Numb by Linkin Park

If you have Wizard of Oz on DVD then I recommend Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Everything they say is true...it does go well with WoZ. Dorothy actually enters the yellow brick road right when the 2nd half (Money) starts.

Others:

Smashing Pumpkins: all of them but Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie in particular.
The Clash: all up to Combat Rock but London Calling and Sandanista! are my faves
The Cars - self titled
Duran Duran - Rio: Forget Wacko Jacko's Thriller, THIS is the essential early 80's pop album.
U2-Achtung Baby
The Cure - Disintegration,Kiss Me (3X), Pornography (very disturbing though-not for the faint of heart)
Weezer - Pinkerton
Beatles - Abbey Road,White Album,Revolver
Eagles - all of them but Hotel California and One of These Nights in particular
Radiohead - Bends,OK Computer
The Police - Message in a Box: everything they recorded plus selected live tracks
Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party,Nothing to Fear
Bruce Springsteen - The River,The Wild/Innocent/E Street Shuffle

CASADA--bad boy

Casada - Everytime we touch

FROM LOST SERISE 2 EP 1
