The New Forums

Just want to know your thoughts on the new forums. Their is a lot of new features which im sure you'll have no problems getting to know and if you do don't be shy do ask any of the staff or post in the tech section of the forums. Also in the near future we'll have a new skin which Tasoli explained in the news section.

But since these forums are for you all what do you think about them.

Fantastic. vB is one of the best forums out there.

Great work to everyone who worked on the forums.

I've installed and moderated for several years using vB software, and even though it sounds like Frosty is covered by some great people. I offer assistance if it's ever needed. I'm not a php pro or anything, I've just been dealing with vB software for a long time.

Anyhow, great work and Welcome back! Woohoo!

Glad the forums are back, regardless of which bb you use. Anything is better than the Simutronics Official Forums!!!

Ezz good stuff Glad they're back, as folks have said. Are avatars and signatures still supported? Or are they yet to come?

Not sure about avatars yet.. Signatures and Images are supported but they are turned OFF by default... go to your control panel and to Edit Options to turn on visibility.

[EDIT:] avatars are working now.

i kinda like these forums a little better i can do more with my profile well picture wise. other then that its basicly the same. but yall all did a good job the mod team and every1 getting it back up and frosty you took legal actions yet? i saw your post on MMORPG.com and was j/w if yall got the guy i would personaly piss on his leg..

I miss the old forums. This new look is too bright and it just feels wrong. But I will use them if I must.

I like the quick reply, but i prefere the old HH template and layout, but as long as HH forums are back and running it is all good for me. Good to see that lame hacker hasnt stopped HH.

I've said this a couple of times, but for those of you who didn't see it... we are making a new template for the VB boards so that they look like our old ones, please sit tight.

I belive that when we get our old theme on here, everyone will really enjoy vB. vB has many more options for customization, and it is a bit more stable, with more features.

wow i just found out you can see who voted for what i always wanted to see who would vote agenst stuff.. because i always think sum1 would vote they hated sumtin and then ask who voted they hated it... im guilty of it but not on these forums lol

Honestly, I think I'm going to disable that. Some peple may be prone to vote a certain way depending on where the opinion is going. Who wants to be the odd out of the norm?
