Thanx everyone for your comments!

Here is Chapter 29, the first of two final chapters of The New Girl, the sequel to Missing In Action:

Chapter 29

Vaughn shot Sloane in the head with the gun he had, and laid him on the floor.

He did the same to Rachel.

Sydney screamed with fury and ran at Allison and high kicked her, throwing her head back and cracking her jaw.

Allison, from her position on the floor, caught Syd in the stomach with her foot then crawled to her feet, but Syd tripped her. She held Allison in a chokehold against the wall.

Pistol in hand, Syd said

"This will be the last time you die." She squeezed the trigger and felt the pressure as the bullet shot through Allison's heart.

Feeling her throat, she said "No pulse. She's gone."

Syd then took the knife out of her mom and cleaned the wound quickly.

"Thanks."

Syd stood over her father.

"No...daddy."

Irina put her hand on Syd's shoulder.

"Sydney, we have to let it go. You can't--"

"Yes, I can! We can't just let him go!"

Jack's eyes opened slowly.

Sydney looked at him expectantly.

"Sydney, I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough. You have to be strong. I love you."

"I love you, dad."

Sydney laid her head on his chest and felt his heart stop.

Irina sighed and looked at Vaughn.

"You got the hydrochloric acid?"

"Yeah."

"Alright. Use it on Sark, Allison, Sloane, Rachel and Lauren, gather up all the stuff and let's get out of here. Make sure the explosives are set. We don't want anyone following this work and createing another Project Helix. Grab one of the radios and see if you can access the right frequency."

"Sydney, honey?" she said.

Syd looked up at her mother, distraught.

"We have to go, sweetheart."

"The plane will be here any minute." Vaughn said.

As they fly away in the distance, Vaughn presses the detonator button, and the warehouse is destroyed.

US STAFFORD NAVAL HOSPITAL

The copter landed on the H-PAD and Sydney stepped out, rolling out a gurney with a body bag on it.

She pushed through the doors.

Vaughn and Irina followed.

CIA OPS CENTER

CONFERENCE ROOM

"I do accept your resignation." Dixon said to Sydney and Vaughn. "You've done good work for they agency."

"Thank you." they said unanimously.

As they walked out, Dixon said

"Hey.." he said, and they turned around to face him.

"See you at the wedding." he smiled.

Marshall walks in.

"Yeah, me too. With Carrie. And Mitchell. I'm wearing my best tux. Mitch is, too. Well, not really, since he's, like, a baby, he can't really wear a tux, but, you know, I tried."

"See you there, Marshall." Syd said.

YOU KILLED JACK?!?!?! Shame on you Ethan! Now I'm mad at you...how can you kill my spydaddy like that? *cries*

Wedding...aww...yea! But I'm still mad at you for killing Jack. *pout*

BTW great chapter!

Wow! I can't believe you killed Jack! But then again this is you we're talking about. There was one thing I'm confused about. Rachel. she was a bad guy in the end yes and was she Syd's sister? Can't quite remember.

Okay Prepared for final chapter now and a wedding!!!!!!!!!!!! (Unless of course Ethan decides to go and kill Vaughn off and if he did why wouldn't that surprise me. lol
Erin

no erin i wouldn't kill Vaughn lol! yes, Rachel did turn out to be Syd's sister. But Irina and Jack never told her about her; they put Rachel up for adoption and, lo and behold, she was adopted by...the Reeds! That's why, at first, it looked like she was Lauren's sister.

Here it is...The Finale Chapter! Oh, surprises, you ask? Drama? You better believe it!

Weiss knocked on the door to Sydney and Vaughn's room.

"Come in." Sydney said.

He opened the door slowly and smiled when he saw her. She stood facing a long mirror, a trench coat draped over her.

"We need you out there soon. What's with the coat?"

She stayed facing the mirror. "I'm afraid to take it off. I feel like, I'm not sure if my dress is really there; if this is really my wedding day; if I'm really getting married; if my life with the CIA is really over..."

"Syd..." Weiss moved closer to her, placing his hand on her shoulder; she turned suddenly, knocking his hand off.

The coat fell, revealing her dress. She wore a white outerskirt with a silver trim. The top went over her shoulder's, making a wave down her back. The whole dress extended behind her feet.

Tears ran down her face.

"What's wrong?" Weiss asked.

"Something doesn't feel right, Eric."

"What do you mean? What? Why?"

"My dad should be here."

"But he is!" he said, grabbing her shoulders. "And he's happy for you."

"You sure?" she asked him, smiling.

"Of course." he said. "You're beautiful."

She smiled again and he kissed her forehead, then tiled her face and kissed her longingly, reaching for the back of her dress. She pushed him away.

"Eric, I--"

"Sydney, I'm sorry. I just, I.....I love you."

"I'll see you out there." he said, walking out and closing the door.

She sat on the bed.

TWENTY MINUTES LATER

Vaughn stood under an open archway, in front of an altrar and watched as Sydney came out the backdoor. Weiss took her arm and escorted her down the aisle.

She smiled widely at everyone in their seats; her mother, Marshall, Carrie, Dixon, even Mitchell. All of Michael's family, all her other freinds from the office.

She stopped next to Michael.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to witness the mairage of this man and woman. I believe that both Sydney and Michael have prepared their own vows."

"I'll go first." Sydney said.

"I didn't know it when I first met you, but I loved you. It wasn't 'till later that I realized what you meant to me; what you mean to me. You changed my life, Michael. I know that this was meant to happen. I love you more than anything. I know that if my father were here, if he were here..." she paused, and the tears began, "If he were here, he would walk me down the aisle proudly and I know that he's smiling down on us, today."

"Sydney, you are the star in my life." Michael began. "I feel like the luckiest guy in the world because I'm with you. When I asked you to marry me, I truly didn't think you'd say yes."

Kind laughter came from the crowd.

"Because I didn't think I deserved you. But now I know, standing here, that if the best woman I know, the strongest, most selfless, most beautiful woman I have ever had the pleasure to know, can leave the past behind, I can too. You are the air I breathe. I'm crazy about you, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

Everyone clapped.

"Does anyone have anything they'd like to say to the bride and groom?" asked the priest.

"I'd like to say something." said someone by the side of the house.

Will Tippin came around to the backyard and stood in front of an empty seat, looking at Sydney, who had a shocked look on her face.

Her eyes traveled to Weiss, who winked at her.

"Thank god for Eric Weiss and his connections." Will said. "It would've been a lot harder to get here from Wisconsin."

Everyone laughed again.

"Sydney, I will always know you as the woman who turned my life around. On the plane ride over here, I recalled a quote I heard once: 'Love is never jealous or concieted.' Remembering that, I truly wish you guys the best of luck and happiness." He sat and everyone clapped again.

"Who has the rings?" The priest asked.

"I do!" said a tiny voice. Marhsall's son, Mitchell, jumped out of his seat and ran as fast as he could up to Michael, who bent down to take the rings.

"Thanks, Mitch."

"Mmmhmm." He ran back to Marshall.

Syd and Vaughn laughed.

"Do you, Sydney Anne Bristow, take this man, to be your lovely wedded husband, to love and to cherish and to care for, all the days of your life?"

"I do."

"And do you, Michael Vaughn, take this woman, to be your lovely wedded wife, to love and to cherish and to care for, all the days of your life?"

"I do."

"By the power vested in me, I know pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Vaughn leaned in and placed his lips on Sydney's. She leaned back and when it was over, they ran down the aisle. Everyone cheered and clapped.

LATER THAT NIGHT

"Oh god, Michael!"

"Syd?" he ran into the bathroom where she sat.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong." she said, holding up something blue.

His eyes widened.

"Honey, I'm pregnant."
