“Vaughn?” Sydney giggled.
He looked at her. “You’re really never going to call me Michael again are you?”
“No. Vaughn is so much cuter on you.” She giggled again.
“Alright.” He sighed.
“We should do this.” She said, gesturing towards the TV.
“What?”
“This.” She said, pointing again.
“What? Argue like Ross and Rachel on Friends?” He asked curiously.
“No, make a pact.” She said.
“What kind of pact?”
“Well, like, someday if neither of us are married we should marry each other because you know we’re going to be best friends for life anyway.” She smiled.
“That’s true.” He smiled back. “Ok so what? Like when we’re forty if neither of us are married we get married?”
“No, forty is too old. I want to be able to get some kids outta you Vaughn.” She smiled as she traced his cheek lightly. “With those pretty green eyes.”
“Excuse me, did you just call me pretty?” He asked in a mock-offended voice.
“No.” She laughed. “I called your eyes pretty.”
“Ok. Continue.”
“So yeah kids.” She smiled.
“How many am I required to give you?” He asked.
“Umm two.” She said. “A boy and a girl.”
“Alright.” He nodded.
“So how about 35?” She asked.
“You’ve got yourself a deal Bristow.” He smiled.
“It’s not a deal it’s a pact!” She insisted.
“Sorry.” He laughed.
“Do you swear to abide by this pact even if I have to drag you kicking and screaming down the isle?” She asked so seriously it made him laugh.
“You won’t have to drag me kicking and screaming. I’ll just be thinking about that wedding night.” He said with an evil grin.
She smacked him on the arm. “Vaughn!”
“Ouch” he laughed, grabbing his arm.
“Vaughn.” She said warningly.
“I swear to abide by the pact alright.” He smiled.
“Good, let’s kiss on it.” She smiled.
“Ok.” He said as leaned over and kissed her quickly on the lips.
“YAY!” She cheered.
“Oh boy... what have I gotten myself into?” He teased.
