Here's just my story of the Season 2 Finale, maybe it's far fetched, but all in good fun. I've never done fan fiction before so feedback would be good, and constructive criticism! ;) (Taking into account I am sort of making it up as I go along).

Chapter 1


Sydney was sitting at her desk in the CIA offices, it had been 12 hours since that event, since she had lost another person that she cared so much for, since she lost........Dixon. He dyed for his country, to save Syd's life. It kept flahing through her mind, what had happened. The fact that he died disarming the Rambaldi device. This didn't matter to Syd at this moment in time, she couldn't forget the the last thing that Dixon had said to her. He told her that he had nothing to live for, she knew how he felt, she had lost Danny, and she knew what he was feeling. She had try to persuaded him, but he just wouldn't listen. She fought with him, but the clock was counting down, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7......He pointed a gun at her, he told her to leave NOW, and that he wasn't going any where, Vaughn looked at him in amazement. He stared back at Vaughn and told him to get him and Syd out of here. He unlike Syd knew there was no changing his mind, so he grabbed Syd and pulled her towards the door, she wept but knew what was going to happen, as they ran away from the building, there was an almighty explosion it threw them to the floor. They looked in amazement the sight were the building once stood, it was know a mass of flames, and Dixon, it came to her, she looked at Vaughn and cried into his arms.

Suddenly, someone tapped her on the shoulder, it was Vaughn, he bent down as she sat there at her desk with her head in her hands, with tears forming in her eyes. But she knew deep down she couldn't fall apart, not now, not as long as Sloane was still out there. She wanted him dead. He has taken so mush things away from her, her fiance, her best friend, her life. She looked up at Vaughn holding her composure. He carrased her face asking how she was doing. He knew it was a stupid question to ask, but it was the first thing that came into his head. She looked at him knowing what was playing in the back of his mind. She looked at him and stood up, and he followed.
'Vaughn, I don't blame you I want you to know that. I know why you did what you did, but it doesn't make it any easier. I just need some time, ok.'
She said this in a soft tone, allowing Vaughn to know she's upset not angry. But deep down inside she felt this hatred towards Sloane, but not just him her mother. If she did care for her couldn't she have prevented this, Diane's Death, and Dixon's. She wanted to kill them both, she hated that she felt this way. Was she turning into her mother? A woman she felt was heartless, a killer and a traitor who lied to her and her father.
Although she thought to herself whether she could pull the trigger, as still, despite all the things her mother was, could she kill the woman who brought her into the world, a woman who had killed so many people. She thought to herself....no!

Chapter 2

Maybe the answer was indeed 'no' she couldn't kill he mum, but she knew that when the time came it doesn't matter if she couldn't it may come to the situation where she has to. Vaughn kisses her on the head and walks over to Weiss who had been watching them. When Vaughn approaches him, he tells him there's some news about the Rambladi device. Vaughn looks concerned and asks what it is. He says 'You know that Rambladi device that went off, well the team that that were recovering what they could from the reckage. They found something.
Vaughn looked at him puzzled, 'What?'.
Weiss replies, 'They found it!'
Vaughn, 'I don't know what you mean Weiss, they found what exactly?'
Weiss, ' The Rambaldi device'.
Vaughn stood there speechless, glancing over at Sydney and asked Weiss how that was possible. There was no way it could have survived the blast. Weiss replies that there's a briefing in 10 minutes about what to do next.
Vaughn acknowledges and walks over to Syd. He informs her of what has happened and she like Vaughn doesn't understand how it could have survived the blast when everything within the building and around it had been completely destroyed.

A short chapter but I am going to keep posting more and more until my idea of a finale.
 
I'm out all day but as soon as I get home I am going to write as much as I can and might even reach my verdict on a finale!
 
Chapter 3

Sydney sat next to Vaughn in the briefing, opposite her Dad, Marshall and Will. Kendall was back in charge now, he explained to them how the Rambladi device had been found at the sight of the explosion. What he, like the others, couldn't understand was how it survived the explosion. It was found in the the building's reckage with not a scratch on it. He told them that it was under heavy guard in the building and that it was being studied. While he was explaining the situation Sydney, like the rest of them could tell he was worried. What was next? What is Sloane and Irina's plan? How do they know the device won't activate again. So many questions, would she ever find out the answers.

In a warehouse in Sri Lanka. Sloane sat there thinking about Emily, wondering what they would be doing now if only she were alive. He never felt truly satisifed with his vengence against Dixon. He wanted more, he had wanted to see the moment in Dixon's eyes when he saw his wife die but more importantly he wanted Dixon, he wanted him DEAD!
Sark entered the room and looked at Sloane. He told him that had been some news. Sloane looked up and said, 'What news?'
Sark replied,'The CIA are now in possession of the Rambaldi artifect. They, well Sydney stopped it. '
Sloane looked at Sark and said,'Sydney?'
'Yes, Sloane, but it came at a cost'? He replied.
Sloane said worringly,'Is it Sydney, is she?'
No, Sir, she is fine, however he colleage was not so lucky'?
At that moment, he knew, it was Dixon. He smirked, he was delighted!
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, it was Irina. She walked in and looked at Sloane and Sark.
'You told him the news then?' She glanced at Sloane who looked pleased.
'Do you realise what you could have done? Sydney was there, if anything would have happened. I would kill you, you know that, right?'
He looked at her concerned and replied, 'You know I would have never done anything to put her life in danger purposely'!
'I just want you to know that if anything happens to her, you'll pay, do you undestand me? Remember she's part of the plan, without her this won't work, I need her, we both need her'.

Chapter 4

Back at Sydney's appartment her and Vaughn are having something to eat. The atmosphere is silent. They both are thinking about what has happened in the past few days and if it will affect their relationship.
Suddenly Vaughn breaks the silence,"Sydney, are we OK?"
Sydney looks up at him,"We've been through a lot, right? You've stuck by me through everything. When I was having trouble with my dad, my mum and, well......I want you to know what happened with Dixon, it doesn't change a thing, you had to make a choice."
He gives her a brief smile and looks back down at his food. Then she says something, what he has always wanted to hear......"Vaughn I love you! I need you to know that."
He places his hand on hers on the table and says,"I love you to, and I always have, since I first laid eyes on you that day you walked into the offices I always knew their was something 'special' about you."
Sydney gives Vaughn a smile and the room is filled with silence, but this time it is not an empty silence. As they both reflect on what's just been said, as it is the first time they have truly spoken about how they feel about one another.

Chapter 5

Back in Sri Lanka, Irina and Sloane are discussing their next move.
"We need the device", says Sloane.
"I know that, but how is that possible when it is in CIA possession."
"We will do what we have to do to retrieve it."
"Wait, how do you intend to do get it"? She replies, but really knowing what his plans are.
"I have a contact within the CIA, I will use them to help us gain entry into the CIA headquarters."
Irina looks at him, she knows it will be dangerous but she knows that the CIA won't transfer the Rambladi arifect, not when they knew they are after it. Therefore they would never expect that they would storm the CIA operation centre. She knew this was the only chance they had to retrieve it and to furfill their plan, well her's anyway. Agreeing with what they are going to do she gives Sloane a nod letting him know she is in.
"You will lead the team into the building, you have the most field experience out of anyone I know." I have people I know who where enemies of The Alliance, they know that I brought them down and I have had dealings with them since then. I will pull together a team of 100, that will assist you in the retrieval of Rambaldi's works."
"I will need all the equipment I ask for." She tells him.
"That's not a problem. I will come with you, but I have other matters to deal with first", he says.
Irina looks at him wondering what plans he has but doesn't ask him what.
"However we are forgetting one important factor..Sydney. She will more than likely be inside the buiding. She will not let us take Rambaldi's work without a fight, you must know that".
"I know", he tells Irina.
"I think are best option is to get two for the price of one."

I wanna write more, but it seems pointless, cos I need to know if people are actually reading it, so can I please have some feedback!

Chapter 6

Syd and Vaughn are being briefed by Jack, they are being sent on a mission to locate Irina, Sloane and Sark. There mission is to capture an old contact of Irina's, Mitchoff. He had dealings with Irina when she was KGB and they have intel that she might have tried to contact him again. They are to catch a plane to Paris and intersept his car as he is escorted from his meeting to his hotel.
In Paris, Mitchoff enters the hotel bar with four body guards each packing. Vaughn sits at the bar and lets Sydney know he's entered. We see her enter in slow motion, the glass doors to the bar open and she walks in, as always she's dressed to kill. Everyone's eyes turn to Syd including Mitchoff and Vaughn's, she is wearing a short black wig, a hip hugging black dress. She walks over to the bar slowly and places herself a few seats away from Vaughn. Vaughn knowing they got his attention stands up and leaves the bar but not before telling Syd on the com that he's going into position We see Mitchoff still staring at her, we see him signal to his bodyguards that he is going over to her. He sits next to her and she looks at him and gives him a shy grin, he smirks at her, allowing her to know there's only one thing on his mind, and Syd knows it. He asks her if she wants a drink, she says yes.
"I have not seen you in this hotel before", he says in Russian.
"That's because It's my first time here, I'm here on business from the U.S", replies Syd in Russia.
"Really?", he says, speaking in English. "Your Russian is very good."
"Thank you", Syd responds.
"Are you sure you haven't a Russian background, you speak the language very well?", he asks her again.
"As a matter of fact my mother was Russian", Syd tells him.
"She lived here for many years, but when she was about 20 she moved to the U.S".
As soon as Syd says this she sees a change in his expression, he seems to be almost nervous around her. He asks her if she could just excuse him for 1 minute and that he just has something he has to do. Syd excuses him and watches him as he approaches one of his body guards and whispers something into his ear. Syd knows there's something wrong, did he know who she was? If so, then there's only one possibility, her mum must of knew she was coming to see him for intel, but how did she know, was it just a motherly instinct, either way she knew she has to get out of there now.

Chapter 7

Syd stands there contemplating her next move when Mitchoff appproaches her and looks her again but this time it wasn't how he looked at her when he first saw her, as this time he seemed nervous, almost frightened of her. She wondered what he had told his bodyguard as she watched two of them appwatch her with a caution.
He's now within a metre of her, and he stops and gives her a smile, which she knew he was forcing. She's been in this job for too long, she knows when someones hiding something. He then leans over and whispers in her ear saying, "I know who you are, I've been warned that you will come to see me. Your mother told me. I want you to come with me." Sydney steps back and says, "I don't think so!"
"I'm afraid you have no choice Miss Bristow. I am under strict orders by your mother to hand you over. There's a high price on your capture and I am guessing you don't want to cause a scene. Think about it Miss Bristow, there are people in this bar who are just sitting her going about the normal day. Do you really want to cause a scene, and cause shall I say 'casualities'?", says Mitchoff.
Sydney glances up at his body guards who place their hands on their guns to show her what will happen if she doesn't comply. She looks at him knowing what will happen so she nods. "Will you please follow me, then Miss Bristow!"
She follows him as he walks through the bar doors, as his bodyguards follow closely behind them. She suddenly hears Vaughn on the other end of the COM asking where she is. She can't say anything so as Mitchoff may over hear her, so she dissconnects her ear piece allowing Vaughn to know there's a problem. As soon as they leave the hotel she makes eye contact with Vaughn and signals behind her. Suddenly she hits Mitchoff from behind and he falls to the floor holding his head, his men go for the guns, but too late Vaughn has got her covered, he shoots at them hitting one in the shoulder and another in the stomach. People outside scream and run for cover as gun shots go off. Him and Syd jump in the back of a limo and he starts the engine. "Wait, I want what we came for. " She wants Mitchoff, she needed to know what he knew. If her mother made contact with him, then he knew where she was, where Sloane was! She ducked out of the car with Vaughn and ran over to Mitchoff. She and Vaughn grabbed him and put him into the back of the car.
Vaughn then sped off. Mitchoff came to and looked at Sydney who had a gun pointed at him.
"Where are Sloane and my mother?", asked Sydney with anger in her voice.
But he didn't reply, he just stared at her emotionless.
"I asked you a question, now answer me, WHERE are they", this time she shouted louder, demanding an answer from him. But yet again he remained silent, instead her kicked at her and knocked the gun out of her hand. Vaughn couldn't see what was going on as the window was up, so Syd was one her own.
Back in the limo, there was a struggle which ended up Syd having the gun pointed at her as well. She sat there looking down the barrel of the gun and him doing the same. She stared helplessly at him. Then said, "Well, are you going to shoot me?". Then she looked into his eyes which where filled of fear, just like her's.
What happened next she couldn't come to terms with. He aimed the gun at his head and took one last look at her and said,"She is the coming!". With that he pulled the trigger. Syd sat there speechless. Vaughn aware of the gun shot stopped the car and opened the door, he looked at Mitchoff who lay there slumped in the back seat and then he looked at Sydney who sat there breathing heavingly and in shock.
"What the hell happened?", he asks her.
"He.....he shot himself", she replies still staring what was Mitchoff.
The air was silent, as Syd sat there totally shocked at what happened. Why did he kill himself. It seemed as though he would rather die than kill her, but why. The las thing she remembers him saying was,"She is the coming". Who was the coming, wait her mother.........?

More tomorrw or if I can sooner, any feedback would be good
 
I'm in work today but I'll post more as soon as I get home!
