Plot: Graboids are illegally taken to a new island resort by a rich playboy as a dangerous form of trophy hunting, and Burt Gummer steps up to save the day.
When a nature preserve in the Solomon Islands is infiltrated by Graboids, Ass Blasters, and Shriekers, two of the preserve's top scientists recruit Burt Gummer, monster hunter extraordinaire, to eradicate the infestation. While there, Burt picks up a potential new protege and encounters lost love.
5 out of 10 stars. Its difficult for me to rate any Tremors film more than 5 stars because they are just so darn corny. This film has decent enough production values. It has the standard Hollywood cliches and follows the Tremors legends. The creatures look more intense and worms have gained new abilities.
Its the old Burt Gummer to the rescue but this time on an island. Oh, and he has no guns.
You got yerself a bad guy who has all the guns and hates Burt Gummer. Burt's son is in a mexican jail but we get to meet his mother.
Not to give away too much but the twist at the end is sad and not Tremor movie-like. I was completely surprised by it.
If you have all the other Tremors films, buying it is something you must do to complete yer collection. If you like the films enough to watch them multiple times, buying it will be worth it. If its just an idle curiosity or ho-hum, just rent it, but have some popcorn. Teenagers will probably like it.
