Every watch a movie and about half-way through you start asking yourself "Wait, did I already watch this one?" and the thought just keeps nagging at you even after you've finished watching the whole thing? And even after the movie ends you still aren't sure if you've seen it before?

Yeah, that's what watching this one did for me. I don't know if it was because I had also recently watched Supercell from 2023 or if because I was expecting more out of an indirect sequel of a movie from nearly 30 years ago, especially considering that Steven Spielberg was back as a producer.

The performance of the actors was fine, and the special effects were fine, and the overall storyline was fine. Everything about it is fine which, for me, ends up making for a mediocre movie. 🤷‍♂️
