Virus Help

my computer got a trojan horse virus, and i don't know how to get rid of it...we have AVG Anti-virus, and we run it over and over, and it tells us it got the virus, but then it comes back!!!! and whenever i log onto AIM (or don't, sometimes it logs on by itself...), an away message automatically comes up with a link to the site w/ the virus!!!!

does ANYONE know how to get my computer better!!?? it's VERY sick... :ill:

A Trojan and a Virus are two different things.

Try downloading Ad-aware, it's free! Sites like McAfee and Norton even recommend it if their own software fails.

After downloading, turn your computer on and run it in safe mode.

A handy companion to Ad-aware is Spybot - Search and Destroy. It's also free and easy to use.
